Lifting Equipment Inspection Training

Lifting equipment inspection training is a full day course incorporating both theoretical and practical inspection elements. It is aimed at persons who wish to perform formal recorded inspections upon items of lifting equipment to satisfy the requirements of LOLER 1998. Completion of the Lifting and Slinging Training (Theory) is a pre-requisite of this course to ensure delegates have a suitable level of knowledge of the working of lifting equipment. Up to 10 delegates can be trained per session.
Delegates will be given an awareness of all relevant legislation and be able to design a scheme of examination, produce a thorough examination report and inspect all common lifting accessories including:
  • Synthetic Slings
  • Chain Slings
  • Wire Rope
  • Eyebolts
  • Shackles
  • Hooks
  • Beam Clamps
